Just letting you all know, Vans aren't good shoes for traipsing through snow or across campus. Especially if you're like me, and you skate in them, because they get torn up. I have two pairs, and both of them have holes in the heels. They leak.
See, there was hardly any snow last winter, so I thought this year wouldn't be so bad either. I thought, "Oh, I won't need to buy any snow boots. We probably won't have another bad winter like 2 years ago. Nah, we won't get 4 feet of snow again."
Well, 1 foot is still pretty sucky. And my feet are cold. :/
You should find a way to convert your vans into boots and show the weather who's boss!

ReplyDeleteThe mother in me forced me to respond in a pragmatic way so forgive me for asking, but I live in Spokane and they sell them everywhere. Do you want me to pick you up a pair? If so just tell me your size and a color preference. Shopko sells some cute (too young for me) styles in white and black. I was surprised about how much Cheney got. Or if your home is out my way I could go get your high tops for you. It is too cold to be walking around in wet shoes.
